Leisure and Sports Centre at the Ice Pond – City of Hof, Germany

The city of Hof in Bavaria is going to plan a public space and sport facility nearby the Eisteich. The construction is also including a Pumptrack, Bikeparks and skateparks next to the river Saale. There will also be water playground, which is build around the Lettenbach. Furthermore the Eisteich is going to be smaller, but a small beach will be built.

The reconstruction work of the municipal artificial ice rink (Eisteich, Theresienstein 4, 95028 Hof), which was planned by the office DIE HALLE architekten, has been completed. The first construction phase involved the implementation of the ice sports facility, the fistball field and the outdoor facilities, which already celebrated their opening.

After the first construction phase of the ice-skating rink, we were also commissioned with the planning of the second phase of construction. At the end of 2021, the complete second construction phase with skate park, pump track, fistball field, renaturation Lettenbach, multifunction fields and much more is to be completed.

Skatepark in a Box

Skatepark in a Box

Build your own skate element with a single box – we make it possible. The reconquest of public space, self-realization, intervention, guerrilla skating and to draw attention to current problems in the city are the basic ideas of this box. The initiative therefore comes in the wake of the future users and ideas can be implemented without detours via authorities and long processes. Through the bottom-up principle, ideas and suggestions for improvement can be effectively communicated to the people responsible.

Every skater can go into the nearest park to skate the existing obstacles. But who can say to build his own spot?

In Curahuasi, Peru (about 2 hours west of Cusco) the central town square shall be redesigned as a recreational square, the Skatepark Peru shall arise.

Featuring a pool area with different skate elements arranged on the court surface. Also, a large multifunctional area is contemplated for events and other sports and leisure activities. We are curious whether and how we implement the project with Simon in the future.
